Never really thought about it before...

... but actually, having no income whatsoever is rather scaring me. Especially when I think that some of my compadres have probably earned enough since we graduated to pay off my student loan. Still, hopefully my savings should hold out for a while longer. On which note, I'm very... impressed, I suppose, by people who do six-month unpaid internships. I appreciate that it's the only way in to certain careers but I reckon it must cost in the region of £5,000 (without considering lost earnings), which seems pretty extravagant – you'd have to be really sure it was worth it.
