Singing on the River

So, Trinity Choir Singing on the River. Recommendations for next year:
1. Do go, if you can.
2. The radius of audibility (so to speak) is quite small so position yourself wisely.
3. If the music doesn't grab you, keep an eye out for bats - some of my favourite animals.
4. The sight of five punts bedecked with paper lanterns being gracefully manoeuvred by four punters simultaneously is fairly impressive.
5. Flash photography! Get over it! If your flash is weak it won't reach the choir anyway, and if it's strong enough it'll ruin the ambience of the scene you're trying to capture. Just use a decent exposure time... sheesh...!
