Saturday Miscellany

1. Having told us in '7 Days, 7 Questions' that there are six PCs per pupil in British schools (now corrected), the BBC now adopts a practice of getting bored whilst writing an article and just adding a full stop and going away to play outside. Allegedly. I suggest at the very least the addition of the word 'home'.
Article now rewritten so my comment makes no sense...

2. An article in today's Torygraph Motoring notes that whilst the British pay £1.00 per litre for petrol, the price in the US is currently £0.22. Ouch.

3. Mum tells me that on the tube last weekend, some lines were closed for maintenance, leading to the announcement:
Those passengers hoping to change here... are wasting their time
To general amusement, apparently.
