Observing the current ballyhoo over fuel prices, I'm inclined to conclude that fuel prices in the UK don't really need to go down, but that in the US they absolutely have to go up. As for the UK, if you don't fancy paying our prices (I paid 96.9p/litre the other day), why not drive 100 miles a week instead of 200, or buy a car that does 60mpg instead of 30? No answer is going to be seen as fair to everyone, but I think we've made a big mistake by developing our society in the last fifty years or so as if driving around in cars is a birthright... Anyone care to disagree with me again?
