... shows us the dangers of having a glass of water on the worktop whilst cooking, when one's brother comes in and pours himself some vodka into an identical glass.

Psh, vodka shouldn't leave your tongue tingly. Or maybe it should and I have drunk too much of it in my lifetime to notice.
