Parents!
Aaargh!
Mum's friend is coming over, and Dad is convinced - for no reason at all that I can discern - that she won't be able to park her Jaguar in the perfectly-accessible, Jaguar-sized space on our driveway. [In the event, of course she had no trouble at all].
He's also just been in to berate me for daring to sit in my own room, with the blinds drawn, rather than occupying the rest of the house, and exposing myself to the hot sun.
By the way, mild spoilers.
Why do they keep marketing HP to under-10s? It's so unsuitable.
Just heard a guy on TV saying that a problem with wind power is that we can't store electricity. Now is it just me being really stupid...?
Wahey, Andy's finished reading it too so I can talk to him!

If you do decide to talk about HP6 on your blog, can you please say before hand, preferably in big stupid people proof letters.
As much as I am a 'Harry Potter, meh' person, i do intend to read it (though probly not for month or so) and i don't really want to read spoilers.
But i do still want to read your blog.
Certainly; I shall put big bold letters and then leave lots of white space :)
Yes, a problem with wind power is that it's produced intermittantly, and so has to be stored.
Where are you going to store all this electricity, in big batteries??
Batteries are expensive, not that efficient, and large, plus only produce DC currents.
Most electricity is produced as and when it's needed, with spare capacity needed so that it can be provided when everyone has their kettles going at the same time.
