One third...

... of Cambridge's undergrads are still here (unless they're at New Hall who got kicked out at the end of May Week, I hear), yet there's absolutely nothing to do. It's 10:30 so even Sainsbury's and Borders are closed. Punting stations are closed. The JCR has been emptied, the TV room is locked (and we'd only get terrestrial if it were open). We're not allowed in Z basement because it's "set up for a conference"... on Thursday. The hot water's off at least in some staircases so people can't even get amusingly clean. Yes, if you're healthy you can go exploring the colleges and stuff, but you can't do that at night. The Buttery is closed, Upper Hall is closed, we're all growing sick of each other's company, and I'd imagine even alcohol is starting to lose its appeal after over three weeks... Graduands' week sucks!
