Voices

There's a rather interesting season of programmes on the BBC called Voices which may be worth checking out. Am listening to Word 4 Word on R4 at the moment. Interesting as it is to analyse speech in this depth, it does tend to confuse me, and I wonder what my accent and what I say are revealing about me. I'm almost certain there's no trace of 'local' in my accent (I think I expunged it back in primary school, regrettably), but it's not pure RP either...
